Complete Bathroom Remodel 2011

The Bradbury Road residence was in need of expanding a1926 bathroom to something more modern and functional.  The owners opted to push out an existing wall between and adjacent office space and expand the size of the bathroom overall.

Additionally the existing 8-foot high ceiling was raised to 10-foot to  accommodate a more grand look.  High end finish materials were used, i.e., polished Travertine tile, Kohler fixtures to include body sprays, a rain shower head and multi-function hand shower unit.  The vanity was dressed with Style-stone, a quartz material that does not require sealing or treating once installed.  Additionally, two waterfall faucets were installed through the wall to eliminate crowding the sinks and offering a cleaner appearance.  A wall mounted toilet (Grohe) was incorporated to eliminate an encroachment into the room leaving it more spacious and much easier to clean around.  The toilet tank is actually installed inside the wall.

Lastly, an array of recessed ceiling lights with dimmer controls and a high end audio system with iPod/iPhone connectivity and ceiling speakers were installed.  Awning windows were used to give the room a bright and comfortable feeling.

Below are a few "before" photos as well as some taken during the construction of the new bathroom.
